too much shaking of doors the ceiling etc...how do i stop it?

how do you pro audio guys stop home audio rattles?

i have a shity door and it rattles like a MOFO

the vent was really really nasty it would **** it air and rattle like a fat 8'' port lol

fixed the vent by scewing a piece of p board in front of the vent so it doesnt get any air to make it sound like shat....that worked like a charm

however the door is still a huge problem during lil jon or any really bassy shit it rattles like shit

should i get a used hardwood door so it stops the rattle sound? im thinking that would work

whats the basic guide to making a room ''boom able''

Does the door rattle against the jam? Because if it is just get some of that cheap roll foam that's sticky on one side and put a small layer in the door jam where it rattles.

Very simple and cheap option. Works great. I have used it in my car as well as in the house for rattles.

Is the door adjusted right? The stop plate should have a tab in it that you can adjust to make the door shut tight.

My wife hates that I have all the bedroom doors so they have to be pulled shut. No slack. . .but I hate to hear rattles!!!!
