too much rattle

well I have a 10" type R in a ported enclosure. the problem is my car is cheap shit (huyndai accent) and when i turn the volume up the back window rattles like hell. The brake light thats below my window hits the window and makes a very awfull noise. Can I just stick some rubber pieces in there or something else without spending a lot of money on sound deadaning. thanx a lot

P.S. my trunk also rattles a lot: license plate, lid, and spare tire chamber.

Alright... I'm going to throw up one of the cheapest ways to do it. Get some electrical tape or athletic tape and wrap it around the light or get some rubber with asticky side but it might be hard to find the thickness you need with that and tape can be whatever thickness you want. for everything else, go to Home Depot, get some Peel and Seal and put it EVERYWHERE. nothing left uncovered. I am having the same problem with my L7 in my 97 Altima, fixed some of the rattle but WHAT IS PEEL-n-SEAL? I'm guessing like dynomat? What part of Home Depot would it be in and roughly how much?

Peel-n-Seal is a product similar to Dynamat. It can be found at Lowe's or Home Depot for $1.30 / sq. ft. AT MOST.

Yeah home depot doesnt have it, i went to lowes and found it in the back with the roof tars, but my lowes only had the 6", so 2 6" rolls=25ft^2=$25.**. $1/ft^2 sounds like apretty good deal to me!

almost same car here. i took out the 3rd brake light. and license plate... either use all 4 bolts or use top 2 and bend the bottom out a little.

I would put all 4 bolts in but the car only has 2 drilled holes for them. I put 2 layers of peal and seal, holy **** thats quite a difference. For all other places like license plate and 3rd brake light, I put a bunch of rubber pieces which also help a lot. thx guys

eDead v1SE (elemental designs sound deadener) is 1.25$/sq ft... i'd go with that over peel n seel

how bout the rattling of the trunk the latch or watever can that be fixed?

i put 1/4" foam weatherstriping on the seal of the hatch, and the hatch where it seals. thats 1/2" of weatherstriping. when you close the hatch, the extra material keeps kinda pressure, if you will, on the latch. it does alot better. i also put one of those jeep hood hold down latches on the outside to hold the hatch down.
