Too much power?

Im running my RE HC (Quad 0.8ohm) to my Tsunami 1100d amp.

Gains on the amp are about 1/2 to 3/4 up and gain on my HU are NF +15 (only when someone wants to hear how loud it is, otherwise gain is usually NF +3 or +5)

When its at NF +15 at about volume 20, it bumps hard, but i have had a few people telling me its distorting, to me it doesnt sound like its clipping.

Am i just pushing it too hard? Or maybe something with the wires?

Btw, box is Q-logic sealed 1.5 cu. ft. (TEMP BOX OF COURSE!)

Jmac will be the first to tell you...the box is everything. He helped me dial in my box, which is still currently in construction

So the sub seems fine? Its the enclosure that sucks
