Hey I'm trying to build a system for my 2000 nissan pathfinder...and unfortunately it only has a 90 amp alt, and I don't want to buy a H.O. alt, so how much power can I safely run?

I was planning on getting an Arc Audio 1500v1 XXK, which I didn't realize is a class A/B monoblock amp that puts out 1000 watts RMS...so i'm guessing it's not as efficient as a class D of the same power...

soo i could do the big 3 upgrade...but is a 1000 watt class A/B monoblock not a good idea for a 90 amp stock alt?

thanks for the help

i have a 95 amp alt, and with a huge *** trunk battery and a solid front battery and big 3 done in 1/0 gauge I'm not seeing any voltage drop running 1000 watt class D amp and 100x4 watt class a/b amp... so I'd say that a trunk battery and big 3 upgrade will be enough for you
