too much bass?

i am thinkin about getting 2 subs that are 500w rms and 1500w peak each. i drive a toyota tacoma extended cab and i was wonderin if i should just get one of those subs instead of 2. would 2 be too much?

"too much" is just an oppinion. some people want 4 RE MT's in their car, some people like 1 sony xplode. all a matter of opinion. best advice is go listen to someone who already has a system, see if you like it, and go from there.

your not gonna see anyone doing that in a DD either hell 150+ is oncomfortable, but you can turn it down
