Too many crossovers

I found a mint condition RF Punch X (made in USA) crossover in my closet and wondered if it would be a good addition to my system. I have 2 ZED Opti 1000.1D & 100.4 amps running off of a Audiocontrol 3.1 and have an Alpine CDA 9886 as my head unit. Would it hurt my system to add the Punch X crossover to it or help it? Would too many crossovers hurt my system?

Think of it this way. Every time you add another component to the pre-amp stage, you run the risk of introducing noise into the system. As long as you aren't crossing over a crossed over signal, you can throw that puppy in there.
