I can't make up my mind between all these subs, they all look good.

I looking for a sub that is at least equal to in output and sq as my previous, 12w7. I'm going to be running an us amps xt4000 rated at 1500 @ 1 ohm. Right now I really like the Audio Pulse Epic and the Fi Q. The RE SX and RL p look good to but I've never heard any of them so I'm jut going by stats and looks as of right now.

discuss..

thanks

4 years of nothing but first place wins with numerous state records and World record...with DD's...I guess I have a right to be ...I've used every DD sub from the 500 series to the 99z series...I know the DD subs inside and out.....
This may be true, but your automatic response to any thread asking for suggestions is DD. I'm sure they're good subs, but christ! They are not the end-all be-all company. Post something that doesn't hug DDs nuts once in a while, or just go over to soundpressure.

And in a more SQ-oriented thread, you could have at least suggested the 9100 series (even though their REALLY expensive).

how about the rl p vs RE SX vs Fi q........

The rl p looks nice but the basket seems like an old design and very similar to TREO's, don't know if it's a good or bad thing..

Just a standard, tried and true 4-spoke. Nothing wrong with that. And the Fi and RE both use standard 12-spokes, as mentioned. I believe the Epic uses a standard 12-spoke as well.

That 4-spoke has been used by many companies before, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I think the reason that some companies choose the 12-spoke over the 4 is because the 12 has a bit more added rearward clearance, thats about it.

Ported or sealed, one or two drivers? They're all around the same price point, 260-300 so I guess we can kinda rule that out. The only thing I see is that the SX comes dual 4 which with one you wouldn't be able to get your 1 ohm load however, I think you can get one custom made to be dual 2, but it might cost you a bit extra.
