the reason people think nash is the best in the league is because he does "fancy" passes and his team plays an exciting style.....u dont hear too much about the boring ole fundamental spurs untill they win in the playoffs....and are headed for another championship.....since stats mean so very much to u, u prob think dirk deserved the mvp too.....right?

He had an incredible season by the numbers. the mavs loss in the playoffs was one of the biggest upsets in NBA history. its not about exciting, its about stats. and everyone knows tim duncan is the most dominant player in the post.

Yeah, SA pwned Phoenix, but in no way is Tony Parker on the level Steve Nash is. Hell even one guy here proved it with stats from the series or playoffs or whatever.

They you talk about Nash not winning a championship, when this was about individual stats and IIRC, Tony Parker hasn't won back to back MVP's and hell, Nash should have gotten another one being his numbers were as good as the last two years.

I also agree that Dirk didnt deserve the MVP being his numbers have been down from over recent years. They system is flawed big time. On this theory as long as you are the best player on the best team you are getting it. It is pretty ghey!

Dirk did deserve the MVP:fyi: led his team to the leagues best record...but Tim Duncan is the leader of SA not parker. Nash is amazing just showing that he doesnt have what it takes... Or when Dallas had him they would have won some rings.
