since voting is done by 125 members of a committee made up of sports analysts and such its hard for me to think the system is flawed. Such as say the BCS is flawed since it in fact is a computer. I personally think these committee members from all over the US and Canada most likey vote from what they see throughout the year.... leadership, wins, etc... I would much rather have basketball experts come together rather than say a computer.... i do think that dirk isnt most the irrefutable mvp of all time but i do think hands down he was the best choice for this years mvp

You are just being biased being you are from Texas. I betcha any money you wouldnt say that if he was on another team with same recored different jersey from different state.

Yes, we know he had another good year. But tell me why he didnt win it last year? Dallas had a great record and Dirks numbers were more impressive. Can you tell me at least that?

Im sure my vote would have been for him as his numbers were better and they were a dominant team( not nearly as dominant but nonetheless)... maybe me being from texas is taking over a little but i dont know of hardly anyone who isnt biased towards players on teams representing their states

The finals MVP was who did best in the FINALS, not the playoffs in general.
