Tone Generator

how do you know that the NCH tones are not 0db?

Also - my friend who's an elec engineer is gonna give me a formula to find out what the correct voltage to speakers should be based on what db your 1kHz recording is, ie, if you have a -12db recording then you'll have a number to divide your voltage by to get a new number.

because they are... how the hell else would i know man. nch tones at default settings put out -12db tones i dont know what it will do if you set it to +12dB never tried, never will...

there are plenty of places to get free tones, also if you ask someone here on the forum someone is bound to send you some or show where to get them...
