All you did is input your own opinion on what a simple statement could mean. The idea that a simply laughing remark would insist all of what you imply is simply an over exaggeration.
You ignored the rest of what I said and are attempting to minimize it. Lol. It doesn't change the fact that it was an admission of failure. If it wasn't, what else was it? Is it funny to laugh about people out of work? Is that presidential? No... then what could he have been doing?
Considering we do not have have the full clip, we will never know the whole story. Dig up the whole video of that interview so we can have some insight into the whole conversation. I and you have both proven that taking anything out of context only allows one's mind to fill in the blanks. I'm not sure how much more directly we can address your video clip. It is nothing to base any ideas from other then an opinion for what YOU think MAY have been going on.
I realize you are wanting to defend obama. That much is clear from your rhetoric. I feel you are going to deny that too, but like this argument you're making... you're not going to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. Obama is admitting in the clip that the stimulus did not work. That much is plainly obvious as well. When this clip hit the news cycle around a year ago, nobody denied it then... because it is obvious. There is honestly no sense denying it or saying it's out of context. To make your case, there would have to be some logic that could say he was talking about something else. In fact, the context surrounding his comment is even more damning because it confirms exactly what I am saying he said. Are you asking me to post the entire clip to confirm this? You know I can... or are you hoping I will tell you to google it so you can say "aha! you did it too!"? I am just not sure what your angle is but you have to know that your argument does not hold water.
To be honest I am not defending Obama. If read most of my posts I dislike all political figures and feel the President is nothing more then a messenger. While the context of the conversation that clip is pulled from may be more damning then that clip, seeing the whole clip would allow for one to judge from the content rather then a simple exert from it. As I said before and you proved in this thread. If you take a single part of a conversation and focus on that anyone can read into it what they want. That was my whole issue with the post in the first place. I never said that what was done was right or wrong. I don't feel the President is as accountable as many make him out to be. I also believe that no matter what we(the country as a whole) will have issues with each and every President. There will be no exception to that.
