Nothing like blowing off some tool in an LT1 with flow masters in a modified 3800 Camaro.

I don't know if I'd venture down the performance route only because you don't have an L67, but a few mods wouldn't hurt.

So very true. I have thought about what road to take, and its audio. The performance route can wait for my 350Z....in the not so near future.

I've got a 99 firebird. It's a 3.8. The only mods I did were a dual exhaust/ hi-flow cat and modified the stock intake. Quick enough for me. Although many other cars can still beat me I still have fun in it.

Buy yourself a big box of coil packs for future problems. Invest in a very good set of spark plug wires and buy an extra ICM for it. About the only continous problems these cars have.

As far as your stereo, I would get a loud 15 or a loud 12. The Btl would be a good option but your gonna starve almost any 15. Unless you lose your backseat. Invest in a loud set of comps. Never heard the kicker componet line, only there subs. I had some polk momo's and 2 l5's in the back. Sounded good enough for me. Shoot me a pm if you got any other questions.

I drive a 94 z28. gas prices ****. go with car audio for sure. that way, if you ever decided to get a z28, all your car audio stuff (box and everything) can go straight into your new z. Its expensive to make a 3.8 fast. besides, you can get a LT1 car dirt cheap that will most likely be faster than a modded 3.8.
