To little power for type R?

I just got a pioneer 760wat amp that will do 380x1 bridged at 4 ohms.. I want to use a single 12" sub and im between a Type R or Kicker CVR.. will this be to much power for the cvr and will it be to little for the R? Thanks

U can never have an amp with too much power if u know how to set ur gains

I made two type R subs bump hard with a 1600 watt pyramid...which was actually only 75 rms per channel. No matter what it will still bump just not anywhere near it's full potential.
