To all you BAGGED vehicle owners

i would really like to do it myself but with school fulltime and work i have no time for it

and im more than capable of doing it seeing as i am a mechanic as well

so the one shop i went to qouted me 3000 parts and labor but the parts looked cheap so i started looking for my own kit and thats what i found the one i linked above i dont know alot but it seems to have everything included and at a fair price im guessing

It looks like everything is there that you'd need to do an over axle setup on a truck.

You could probably get the price down some by piecing a kit together through Ricky at WhyNotFab, Ant from StreetNShow, or through SuicideDoors.

I'm not sure what kind of kits Ant and Ricky carry but Jason from SD has a front special up on s10forum for members.

It runs for $645 and comes with everything you need to bag the front including air management.

I think it would be a good base to start with if you wanted to try and piece a kit together from there.

i wouldnt mind piecing together a kit but airbags is not my thing i wouldnt know whats better than what

i mean im just going by word of mouth some one linked me to that kit and i started looking at it and from what i can tell it looked good

im going to have to do some reading and find out whats good and whats not

I am partial to Firestone bags tho. My friend has been running his 2500 for 4 years and never had a blow out yet. Also, if you do decide to bag your truck, always keep at least one spare bag but ideally 2. Dont wanna blow a bag and be left waiting a week for a new one to arrive.

ill keep that in mind

also will it be any harder to bag my silverado compared to my s10?

just wondering if i should even bother with the s10 and do it to my silverado instead since that is my little project truck

IMO s-10's are the easiest truck to bag. The silverado will just be more expensive since it is a full size which equals beefier 4 link and bags. I saw a guy with a 'rado and he had 18 inches of lift with firestone 2600's!!!
