My friend bought 1 a few years ago. Not 2 impressed with it maybe they've gotten better don't know. But if you got the money to buy the JL 500/1 you wont be dissappointed. Bougth one for my girlfriend with 2 12's JL W3's and hits hard.

there is a guy selling a PR1000.1 in the classified for $100

as far as the TMA amps are, I am running a 2 channel(TMA 360.2) in my car for my mids and it seems to be solid.

Dont know anything about their mono block
