Do TMA amps generally put out under, at, or over their rated specs? I might go with these amps if I can't get a solid deal on some Xenons or Infinitys. But I first need to know what they are capable of.
That's good to know. After you posted that, I sent off an email to TMA asking what the rms output is on a variety of their amps is with 12.5V in and the gain set to 2V. Will post the response here when/if I get one.
Are these the Tec TMA series amps? I have been looking for a monoblock and 4 channel that look the same for a nice clean install but it seems hard to find. The TEC TMA 500/B and the TQA 100/B would be perfect. If the are good quality amps.
i have a 500.1 in my car and it gets about 600 watts, very good amps, the 1000.1 is better im also in omaha but i coulnt make it to the show tonight how was it?
I couldn't make it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Planning a wedding takes up a lot of time!
That's good news of the power output. Mind of I ask how much input voltage you have going to them and what voltage the gain is set to in order to get 600w?
TMA is a JLA subsidiary which targets the budget oriented market segment.
Stereo West opens at 11am central, so I'll call and ask on current pricing then post here. If I remember correctly, the 320.2 is $149.99 and the 500.1 is $199.99 from them. This pricing may not be accurate for two reasons: 1.) it was back in April when I got the quote and may have changed since, and 2.) the pricing has likely slipped my mind. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
