Had a meca event yesterday today. Ran AS3 and the event was indoors. Basically car off, (1) Deka 9a31 along with stock battery, (1) Saz3000d, (1) 15" Nightshade in 3 cu ft at 36 hz

Yesterday - Yung Joc Its Goin Down - 138.7

Today - Gorilla Zoe Juicebox - 139.9

Not what I expected but amp kept jumping to protect due to voltage drop from having only (1) extra batt and not bein able to start my truck all day. Did have a charger tho but still only pulled those numbers. Sub and amp are still near brand new so not yet broke in either. How you think I did?

i ran as1 with 1 kw and with 2 cvr 12s i did a 141.9 on the same song out of a trunk with only a batt under the hood, car off. i do believe ur box is waaaaaaay to small.

maybe for strait burps..... id have at least 4 cubes for a 15 and alot of port....maybe thats why is stomp everybody elses trunks when i compete? lol id have over a 145 with that setup street style at least peaking LOW.

Hmm maybe it was ur box.. With your same setup up Derrek i believe on team sundown is hitting a 150 with 1 nightshade.. A little work and different combinations will get you higher.. So many little things will raise or lower your score.. Try moving your box around and see how your score is affected.. Try a new box all together.. GL MAN!!!

if i could have done it with my truck on, i would have alot higher score, but having the truck off killed me

u should be louder...my path2spl had 1 nightshade 15 in 3 cubes sealed with 1 saz1500d and he did 142 sealed at the dash playing anything

u should do 3 cubes tuned to 36 with 3 4inch areo ports or a 60square inch port

derrick designed the box and than mike tweaked the design and built it, but yea i do have alot of things to mess with

Easiest way to get a higher number is build a new(smaller) box tuned to ~50hz. If you're already able to reach mechanical limits in the 3ft^3, which you should, then the smaller box will help the sub handle the extra power.

Maybe you got it wired to 4ohm instead of 1ohm?

No it should be 1 ohm. Not 100% as to my buddy wired it up but he knows what he is doing. The box sounds awesome for jus daily driving but I am thinkin about making a box that is smaller with some external aeros for comps

believe it or not sub to the side and port up works in some suvs

double check the wiring, it could be at 4 ohms

i heard that, i am definetly keeping the box i have for daily because it sounds awesome.. but i might try a few things for comps.. because today was a expensive triple point today and i walked away with a big 0!
