Tired of waiting, NEED OPINIONS!!

I have been waiting about 3-4 weeks now for my Image Dynamics CXS6 (2ohm model) to come in to sounddomain.com

I have no speakers in my car right now, and its starting to get frustrating on long drives. Also I am going to be starting my install next week.

What I was was thinking was to just buy the 4ohm models (which they have in stock) and only run 100watts to them. But I am not sure if they would sound that good with only 100watts going to them.

My question is, should I go with the Image Dynamics CXS 4ohms and run 100 watts, or should I get another 100rms 6.5comp? (like cdt cl-61a or cdt ef-61) Please let me know what you think I should do

I would just go with the 4ohms.......

what are they rated at??? They should be plenty loud with 100 watts. remember it takes doubling power just to get 3 more db.

I run approx 150 to my front stage and it is extremely loud.

hey, thats what i was thinking too.

they are both rated at 150wrms. I have a NINe.2 amp (100x2@4ohms and 150x2@2ohms) the amp prolly pushes a little more though @13.8volts so I will prolly be pushing them with 110wrms-115wrms. They have a sensitivity of 91dB too. Do you think I should just go with the 4ohm models like squeak said?

I just called SD today and they said they should have the CXS62 in stock anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks. I am considering getting a set as well, but I hope I dont have to wait over a month to get them.
