wanted to put together some tips and tricks on different methods of getting a perfectly sealed enclosure made.

Use sharp blades, and make sure your saw fence is square.

the holy grail: PL premium. I used this adhesive everywhere in my build, in some places combined with titebond 3, and it works wonders.

Making good cuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I use a Milwaukee circular saw on a Eurekazone track. You can use a Festool, Dewalt or Makita tracksaw, or the Eurekazone track on any circular saw.

I've said this in a couple other threads but if you seal with silicone, let it fully CURE (not just dry!) before letting your subs go near that box. Silicone outgasses and it's bad for your subs.

Can anyone vouch this? because I slam my woofers in almost every enclosure i've built like 5 minutes after it dries...

lol everyone here should know not to set a sub in a box until everything has cured

Adding a single layer of weather striping around the cutout for the sub, much like this but alot thinner.
