tints for my car

for a mercedes CLK320, silver, any thoughts on what i should tint them? Florida's legal tint is 28%, but nobody goes by it, all my friends have 15, 5, 0, and bleh, suggestions?

just paint your windows with 3 coats of black gloss paint

yeah i kinda figured rims would come into this... but... seriously, do cops actually care bout how dark the tints are?

Do you have a radar detector? If so I recommend rolling down your windows when it goes off. Just don't look suspicious doing so.

Also if you do get a ticket it's not a high one, and at least in TX it's not a moving violation so your insurance stays the same.

I say go w the 5% and even if you get caught, just pay the fine... it's worth it to me.

i think 5% looks bad on classy cars like that. id go a little lighter. and get a ceramic film. like the pinical series from formula one.

I just got a ticket for window tint. I put on a layer of 5, and on the meter it came up 3.4%

All they made me do was peel it off...so I'm just gonna put more on.
