time to wall the 05 civic

Well I don't know something about having enough bass in a small car to not only damage your hearing but annoy everyone within a block radius i'm against.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Some of us don't like the casual commute to work. id rather be riding a shaking rollercoaster full of music, cant read anything, vision is blurred. I just loves the bass and i cant seem to get enough of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I am respectful though do not get me wrong, shit is always paused at stoplights, and residential neighborhoods, thats disrespect.

Colin, i do like this idea rather, gives room for the seats, port is center and subs visible all the way around. Also i could actually build this in 2 seprate boxes if at all possible in avoidance in removing my center consule and disassempling my shifter

I'm pretty sure you will need to remove the center console.

My wall took 3 boxes to make work and it's sealed with beauty panels, but no great foam or anything so I know that's costing me on the meter. I gained .6dB just by putting the top panel in place.

You could do copper coils at that power level and save some $$$ unless you already have 2 alum coils.

Why can't he do side panels with a port all the way across the top? The side panels can sit flush with the face and screw into extra pieces put on the sides.

I will need to measure the max height on the door to see how tall i can even get and how long before it slopes down and would catch a corner. Or build the whole thing from the inside like my last 3 boxes haha

The whole reason i went to the wall was cause im not happy with my 40.1

@ 1ohm load, i just reconed from HDC3 Dual 2 copper, to HDC3 dual 1 aluminum, my copper dual 2's sat at .5 ohm and my 40.1 would scream with that ohm load. i wad doing low 48s on music with windows down and now im doing low 46s with the windows down, at least a 2 db downgrade, its driving me nuts at 1 ohm. so now i figured i would add another and have 3 with a .6 ohm and i don't see why i wouldn't be happy, should be at least a 2 db gain from 48s.

you dont have enough power for 3...esp with rise
Not if i install a capacitor!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif haha just messin, i think 3 15's on a clean 4.5k should do well enough for awhile. . . . ill want more eventually

You would probably be louder on that power with copper, but no biggie.

If you can get behind the panels once they're in place then use Great Stuff or whatever. I don't compete, so numbers don't matter, so I didn't go to that extreme to seal it off. Just wanted a loud daily driver that kills on rock/metal and that it does...
