Time to upgrade

Getting bored with my setup. Time to upgrade.

Thinking a single HDC4 15" but I see they only come in D1. So I was thinking a about the AP 3000 at 2 ohms. I was leaning towards the single 15 so I could run a smaller box. Current is 4 cubes after all displacements and I cant get my spare out of the trunk....

Or maybe 2 HDC3 12s on an AQ3500.

I ran 2 HDC3 10"s on an AQ 3500 in my truck and loved it.

Pretty much looking to get louder then my current setup and if possible run a smaller box. Also not wanting to spend a chit load. lol

but the oa-12s on the aq 3.5k. I think you will be pleased.. will the subs blow up? maybe.

Another option I was considering. I have 2 sa-8s in my truck and love them but I worry 4 sa-8s wont be loud enough.

aq and small box dont go together..i got 2 hdc4 12.s on aq3500.1 and love it ....get 1 hdc415 and run it in a solid amp at .5 ..not the ap3k lol...

i jus did 4 sa8 v2 in my buddies ext cab ranger on saz3500 @.5 and its loud very loud

I'm assuming your current box is around 3.5-4 ft^3 with 2 obsidian 12s? You could fit 6 or 8 SA-8s in that much room lol... Would be pretty expensive though. You could also wait and see how the Sundown X series looks.

Also a Fi SP4 15 could be an option for 1 sub SP415 - Fi Car Audio Store

I was either doing 2 HDC3 12s in 4 cubes or 1 HDC4 15 in 3.5 cubes.

Only reason I didnt want to run .5 is my electrical setup. So a 2200D at .5? I was planning on a 220 amp alt and 2 powerware 102ah batteries one day.

Yes current box is 4 cubes after *** displacements. Yea I would love to run 6 sa-8s but like you said that gets expensive.

I was thinking about the ZV4 15 as well. But I think the HDC4 can handle more power. Buying 2 12" of the Z or X would be too much money as well.

I also have the SP4 in my thoughts lol But I think it would be out of my budget with getting an amp to push that beast and well as electrical.

hdc4 15 in3.5 cubes is too small. but would do decent on aq2200 @.5

What would be a nice size for the 15? AQ box specs list *****.. Says 3.00-4.75. I heard the HDC4s work well in the same size boxes are the HDC3s. I ran my 2 HDC3 10s in 3.12 cubes net and they were great.

Stupid HDC4s and their D1 only......

@GVP ; has a autotek mx3000 made in the us iirc its absolutly amazing 3000rms at 2 ohm and i want it so bad but i just blew out my tires yesterday being an *** and now 900 bucks down the drain on new tires so no amp. get your 2 hdc34 and be happy on it .

and i would prefer the sp4 would be sick on the autotek

he is selling it for a great price also you wont pass it up lol

Im leaning towards 2 HDC3 12s on an AQ 3500 now. My idea for 1 15 was a smaller box around 3-3.5 cubes.

Or maybe another brand monster 15 that requires a box around 3-3.5 cubes and thats D2 and able to handle 2000+ watts.

Pretty much I want to get as loud as possible with around 3500rms and stay at or under 4 cubes.
