I think it basically is the setup, some are louder with the windows up, some are louder with the windows down.

well depends on if you build for dbdrag or not. but most EVERY single car is louder with a window down.

That's because those high notes will "cover up" the bass when the windows are up and will "exit the car" when the windows are down. Play some test tones without any treble and i think you'll find that the bass is loudest with the windows up. Maybe not though. Just a suggestion.

i had a friend get pulled over and got a ticket, but because he was a minor he had to go to court. judge was tight got off with a 10$ fine.....another friend got a ticket in manhattan beach he got a 150$$ fine shits wack

About 2 years ago, I was out hanging with some of my friends uptown (at the time I only had my headunit & coaxials) All of a sudden, this cop comes up to me telling me to turn my shit down.. b/c he could hear it from blocks away. The next thing I know hes pulling out his ticket book and asks me to take a seat in his car..

2 weeks later, I pay the court $72.00..

Yeah, I got one recently, and I'm gonna go to court for it. I left my girlfriend in the car, went in the store, and her stupid *** didn't see the police and turn it down, so I walk to the door on my way out, and see the Cop next to the car. I was thinking of staying in the store, and hoped that he just gives up and leaves, but then I just came out, and hoped for the best.

Good idea 45auto.. Afew weeks ago i was peelin out around town and doing stupid shit like that, and then i parked in the mcdonalds parking lot and went inside for a milkshake, i got the milkshake, turned around and when i looked out the glass there was a cop parked directly behind my car just sitting there blocking me in... regardless i didnt go back outside like i had planned too, i sat around mickyd's for around 10 minutes till he finally left

Oh and i got a 100 doller noise fine two weeks ago, and i dont even have subs, just amped coaxials

You know whats ****ing stupid, cops always give people with car stereos noise fine violations.. but what about the HARLEYS? I guess its ok for some redneck with a harley and straightpipes to be heard from 10 blocks away, but we're not allowed to play our music loud? Fartcans and flowmasters are alright, Harleys they can rip up the streets all hours of the night.. but the second someone throws in a rap cd, BOOM every cop in town is up his ***.. Its bullshit

Cop gave me $280 for loud music, I was like wtf? I when to court & fight for it, Judge drop it down to $98. How? Well I put on fake hearing Aids & I told judge I'm hard hearing. He was oh, ok I'm dropping yr charge to $98. I was happy. Pwned!
