the only reason you have, as some people say, "a boom box" in ur car/truck, is so people can hear you coming and keep you safe? I doubt it would go over well

I borrowed bamaboys box that he had with his old mt 18 and put one of my avalanches in it to just have some bass until i get my box built. I got a warning within 2 hours of putting it in and on top of that it was on a unpaved road that only one person lives on (the cop i later found out) out of city limits and it was the first good time i turned it up. Also, the cop was on duty but was at his house on his lunch break (11 at night...night shift) and he heard me coming and walked out of his house as i was passing by and as soon as he backed out he turned the lights on.

Ive had a close call, right after I installed my previous box...but no tickets or pulled over....

My friend was driving someone elses car buping the stereo. Idiot never heard the firetruck coming. Beamer was totalled. Cant understand why he didnt SEE it though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I will not put any credence into the arguments about inability to hear the warnings of emergency vehicles approaching until they quit issuing driver's licenses to people that are partially or completely deaf. /story.

Edit: Not that I am advocating the removal of driving priviledges from hearing-impaired people, mind you. That is not the case at all. But your eyes are a much more important tool for use while operating a motor vehicle. Open and then USE them, folks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think that the older foks need to not be able to drive. Talk about people who cant hear or see things. Especially speed limit signs. Slow driving old folks FTL
