his is a one of a kind though as far as I know.. isn't it a dual 1 ohm or something? and all others are dual 2.. something like that...

Yes, I haven't actually heard bad things about them. Just too blingy for me

The joke was the REVIEWS link on that site. IMO it looks like you're getting what you pay for there, but I'd imagine finding parts if/when you break it would be a challenge.

Yeah, the reviews look similar to those for every Boss and Kicker sub online.

If I blew it, I'd scrap the basket and soft parts, then just use the motor for something custom.
