And honestly you'd probably be more than happy with a high quality single 12 or maybe 2 8s or 10s. 2 12s is a big jump from a stock system

also if it hasnt been said you should get a hu with atleast 4v preouts....the 2400bt has 2v as its one of their budget double dins

OP, you do realize that coming on here and asking questions about system setup from some people who've been in the industry longer than you've probably been alive without taking ALL of our feedback makes us want to just skip over to the next guy who'll actually listen, right? Your HU is mediocre and you can definitely find better (especially if you look used), the Type R is (like everyone else is saying) mediocre at best, and the amp definitely should go. Not up to negotiation as far as I'm concerned.

Give us a budget and we will help you out, but don't be stubborn or we will ignore you.
