Lil Wayne does have some lyrics and flow for a southerner. Just listen to the first 2 tracks of Tha Carter 2. But he is nowhere near Nas, Mos Def, etc.

He is though the most egotistical rapper in the game. Somebody was talking about when Lil Wayne had an interview and said he can't be compared to Nas and blah blah. Thats BS coming from Wayne. He does think he is better than him and everybody else. Just listen to his song Best Rapper Alive.

Good is the key word...now greatest would be much different, those rappers come from the west..and in no particular order, but you got 2pac, dr. dre, snoop doggy doog, ice cube, warren g, nate dogg, kurupt, etc.
