I rock his $hit. There are some songs of his I dont care for but others sound good. I would have to say Fireman is my fav.
I met him last year in Saint Louis. He was here for a celebrity photo shoot. Xerox Corporation was fortunate enough to do some promotional work for him and my team was involved.

Money isn't everything. If you cant grasp a hold of that concept, then you need to re-think your life. The only reason why he has money is because someone else is making his beats, someone promotes his lyrical career, etc. There are plenty of underground rappers that have much better lyrics but they choose to stay underground and not go mainstream because of the fact that mainstream means you have to appeal to how the record company sees the audience and demographics. The underground artists do what they want and they still have a huge fan base. They still got money, it may not be up the *** like some people but who cares.

I don't have a shit load of money, but I do have pride. I know I can say I work, I work hard, i went to school, i have a college education, i can speak properly, write properly, i have a family, a girlfriend, my life is going great. Sure extra money on the side is nice but money doesnt mean you're happy. I know several rich people who live their life like a normal human being, as if they're not loaded with money. They don't need to brag how much they got, because it doesnt matter. There are people who are happy with the little things they got.

Just because you have money doesn't mean you're worth something. I took an economics class and did you know that there are several factors that really determine what someone's life is worth? Money is one thing, but along the lines are their ability to think critically, their level of education, their professional status, and several other things. Based on this my net worth makes me worth more than Lil Wayne. Sure, he's got me beat in the money department but I guarantee I am much more educated than him, etc. Now, wheres you're rebuttle?

He is a decent punchline rapper, lyricist.. wow, not even close.

Some of the so called "freestyles" on his new mixtape Da Drought 3 have some nice punchlines.

Trust me, i've listened to a lot of his stuff. I don't see how anyone could say he's one of the best, when he doesn't have a single Classic to speak of.

Everyone gets me with this he is not lyrical sh*t. What the fu*ck is lyrical? ya you got people like nas and jay and other old school rapper that got good lyrics, but you know what, that sh* is outdated. There is only so much you can say before you gotta go of the other end and start makin up stuff. I was and still am a fan of lyrical hip hop, but to say that wayne does not have lyrics is foolin yourself. He freestyled every mixtape and even though he doesn't have the rhmes that make think wtf is that suppoed to mean, he has some of the cleverist punchlines right now period. Plus he has a unique flow and voice. I mean when was the lyrics everything. Id rather listen to an average rapper with flow and swagger, then a staraight lyricist with some boring *** beat and flow, period.

He cant freestyle. I've seen him on BET and seriously, it was horrible. All he did was have some garbage sentences and phrases and then a good punch line. I guarantee you, listen to Kottonmouth Kings, check out the song King Klick, Tangerine Sky, and theres many more. Their songs are much better. It may not be talking about how much money they got etc, but they do have lyrics that make sense, they know how to rap, they go with the flow, they can change up their style without losing their sense of style and on top of that they got numerous albums just like that. So if you say you can't stick to be lyrical and you have to end up rapping with some gay shit like "Shake that laffy taffy, lean with it rock with it," etc its all bull, because you can remain lyrical. By the way, i dont see how someone can say "this is why i'm hot. I'm hot cos you're not." Uhhh, wow, thats worse than a 4th grade 1990's comeback. most rappers have weak sauce lyrics and their BEATS make them good, not their lyrics. Its just the catchy phrases as well. How often do you hear people repeat the verse of the songs? Its just a 5 letter sentence they repeat, 'tis all, 'tis whack, 'tis all a bunch of crap.

i would like to know why he says "i gotta eat even though i ate"...is this merely to add a few seconds to a track and take up part of a verse and have something that rhymes? or is he trying to gain weight or somethin? all i know is when i just ate, and im full, like right now, i cant eat, i just wanna sleep.

I really don't see how almost any rap has a good beat. They are boring and repetetive (sp?) to say the least. Almost all rap is incredibly boring to me. Its the same background the whole time, listen to some good jungle and any good rock and the beats they hold will outclass any simple boring rap beat. I really don't see how rap is so popular. I'm not trying to start a flame or anything, but my buddy once said, rap is for the musically retarded. I personally thing thats going too far, b/c I do like some (mainly older shit) but you really do sick of it after a while. Just my two cents. BTW, most music now a days is junk period. Including rock, Ive been listening to more and more world music to satisfy me because elsewhere (where they aren't copying our music from a decade ago) its actually very original and different.

A lot of people like Lil Wayne for his flow. But yet, his flow is NOTHING compared to Tech N9ne, Pharoahe Monch, Ghostface, Bun-B, Rakim, and others. Not even close.

Then people like his 'swagger.' If you like somebody for their swagger, then Camron should be your favorite rapper. Dude has the most ridiculous swagger ever. Along with most of the people in Dipset.

Wayne is trash, and i've been on 3 forums now discussing this and not one person has made me think otherwise of him.
