Thoughts on Audio build. Please add suggestions/critiques.

Hey,

Just wanted to post b/c I plan on doing an audio setup in my car after I get some work done to it mechanically in Oct.

The setup I'm thinking is 2 JL 13W7s with 1 1200/1 JL amp to each sub, I also would like to go with Focal for the component speakers in the front, and 2 Eclipse 6*8 speakers that I already have for the rear, although I have no idea what the best amp is for those components. I need to know what all considerations I need to make for this setup. (what kind of alternator will I need, caps, things like that) I'm assuming that I will need dynomat or something probably also.

My car is a '98 Grand Prix GTP I'm not even sure if there is enough room in the trunk for 2 13w7s.

As stated above, please critique and let me know what I should change, or what I need to make it work. I only had one system before, and that was 7 years ago. My goal is really just a tight sounding system that will sound very nice and still be able to blow the socks off most people.

Well I'll be the first and say you can find better for cheaper. Look into sundown, aq, fi, DC, etc etc.

I'd suggest you do not buy anything right now. Look around on here for a month or two and you will be much better off. There is too much to critique/suggest right now. Take some time and look around here and make a better choice after you gain some knowledge.
