Thoughts on an 18" for daily?

6k on a woofer rated for what? 1500? i think he finally ended up completely ripping the leads out of the woofer, from too much excursion and almost setting his truck on fire... the Fi Bl has a small price tag, compared to any woofer that is rated for power like that.. yes many woofers will do it, but 4X THE POWWAA ?!?!?!?!?

you dont need to like something to use it. thats what the whole planning out and research is for. there is a reason i dont make many threads on here. i do a lot of searching around for what i want to run.

few months. then I toasted them. I ran 1 for a little while, and then I did the "big" build in the ranger, then it got totaled. but I bought them from my friend... who did a 153 sealed on the dash with them... on less than 2k clamped. his setup was super musical too.

You got them in December.

How did you use them for months and then toast them?

FI subs are bottom heavy sounding for sure, so if that's your goal then a BL or BTL n2 could be the way to go. Would probably want more power for the n2, so I'd lean towards the BL.

AQ's will get plenty low, but they will not sound bottom heavy like a lot of other subs. Have a team mate with 4 18's and 2 3500.1's who played 17Hz full tilt the other day. Not sure why....
