Sq subs

I will start by saying I understand enclosure and install matter most. I have a dual 1" slug tc9 motor that I am going to have @ SPLaudio build for me. I am wanting most on the side of sq for this setup in a 01 jeep grand cherokee. I am having him build a 1500 rms sub, that I will be running ~ 1000rms.

Here is my where I have questions. I enjoy spl but I do not need 150db anymore, but I want to build something that will keep me from wanting to add more right away. I was thinking of going with a 15 instead of a 12. Can I get really nice sq from a ported 15? I will have @ double 07, build me an enclosure. Exacly what I am not sure yet but it will be quality for sure. So what are your thoughts?

I think he wants to know what to tell Corey to do with the tc9 .

op, I have a 15". It's a tc9 varient behind tc sounds coils and spiders, with a Memphis cone, and it has pretty good sq.

Ya its more going to be how its built... I had Corey build me a Tc9 12 to hold 2000 daily and its wasnt the best sounding sub but got **** loud
I have never heard an sq sub so I am not sure what the difference is between the 2. But I know if I don't feel it enough I will be switching it up again, and soon. With a new kid and all I do not have the time or $ to do this so I would like to do a nice sql build.
