I would have to say that the 880 is a nice deck. I'm still tweaking with it, but does anyone know how to Mute speakers? I held down onto the multi-control on the speaker option but it just allows me to adjust the levels for my left or right speakers. The 8600 allowed me to completely mute the front or the rear speakers so I could adjust my subwoofer how i wanted to. Oh yes....the 880 is a very very nice deck, the 8600 is a great deck but the 880 is better.

You can mute them, just read the manual, I forgot EXACTLY how but u can.

i have a question about the 880....i never really read the manual is there a way to scroll through your list of artists faster then just spinning the dial all day?

^ don't think so, but you should make folders on your discs, makes it MUCH easier to navigate.

yeah but when using an IPOD....you go to artists or something and theres a couple hundred....maybe a thousand...it sucks.

You could say that about every HU. It all boils down to personal preference + features.

Haha yeah I got like 400 songs on my iPod and I had to make some folders so I wouldn't scroll so much. Is it me or the iPod is louder then the CD compact disc? Or maybe it's just the way how I have my equalizer set up.

I did do that =P My CD is at 3 and my iPod is at 2 and my iPod still got louder then the CD. Hmm...maybe iPod better then CD quality?

Agreed. So when i switch source it won't be super loud on one and another. Do you have this deck or something Nismo? you sure know a lot about it or you just know pioneer decks very well.

Hahah you got the same deck twice!? why did you do that? isn't the 860 pretty much the same as 8600 but premier? I had the deh-p760mp first, then someone jacked it. then the P80MP, then the P8600MP and now the 880prs. I also got liek a 9300 or something in my pops car which is kinda old. How's the CD7100? is that the one with navi on it?
