My 6 layer spider pack raises the cone/surround over 1/4in away from the basket. These rings will go on top of the basket to raise the basket up to the surround so that Im no longer losing 1/4in of excursion and hopefully eliminate the surround shredding party

outer diameter is - 1/64th of an inch on each side to make sure they will fit and inside is at 9 and 3/16ths i just wanted to keep the edge of the ring away from the surround to be on the safe side.
