This Pioneer Amp good enough to power 10w3v3?

I was wondering what you guys thought of using this amp to power a 10w3v3. Whattage seems about right. What about SQ and dependability? Good enough?

I don't know. Pioneer amps are soso. I would stay away from it. If you want a good quality amp that will really run these speaker's, you need to look at the JL 250/1 at least. That is what I run in my car to power my 10W3 sub and it is awesome. Some people will even tell you that that is not enough and will recommend getting the JL 500/1, but that is a bit excessive and you run the risk of overpowering your sub with that power. I'm assuming you have the 2 ohm model. For that same price, and if it were my sub I would get a RF t3002 it is a 2-channel power series amplifier that is stable down to 2-ohms and it is well underrated. It should give you much more than 300wrms. Having too much power is just extra headroom, that isn't a bad thing. If you set your gains correctly you should not blow the sub with an amp with a little extra power.

Stay away from the pioneer amp....that 7200 sucks ***.

If you really want a Pioneer amp, go with one of the ICEpower amps. Like this one.

ive always been impressed with the 10w3's. if they werent so expensive id run 4 of them

Pioneer make's good quality equipment, but I'd go for the Premier model or anything that starts with PRS-. Stick to what you can afford, I would go with a two channel for your first amp then upgrade later to something bigger, moving the smaller amp for front stage duty.
