Coustic 601SE any good?

guy on craigslist is trading the amp for a box. Found his listing on craigslist, and i got a box he likes sitting in my garage heh.

anyone every use coustics gear? any good? i would probably put it in my girls car.

I never used coustic but some friends did and they worked okay. Never had any big problems. I would go for surely it is worth $27

Some of the old Coustic stuff was really good. The newer stuff is supposed to be alright. I know the XM6 crossover unit is about the most recommended budget active x-over on the forum if that tells you anything. Since you're not using the box, I'd do the trade. It's essentially free stuff, because you're not trading anything you have a use for.

I have Coustic 800DB. Rated 400 RMS @ 2, had it benched at 450. Cant speak for yours but I would recommend mine......

I had a coustic 160 (I think that was the model) and it was a decent beater, nothing spectacular, but it put up with all the crap I threw at it back in the day, and that says a lot to me. I've not heard anything to make me think the new stuff is any worse.
