Have you measured the voltage with a dmm when your amp is bridged, like it's hooked up when running the spl sub?

no i havent! my dmm is a cheap wal mart one that doesnt work anymore......

Set all equalizers and bass boost to zero on deck. Today had the same problem and the LOUD feature was on on the deck.

I would buy or borrow a dmm and measure the voltage playing a tone with your amp bridged for your spl sub. Should tell you if the amp is doing around the power it's supposed to.

Do you have another amp to test it with? If not, try to locate a DMM or take the amp to a shop.A lot of places, they'll throw it on the bench and test it out good for around $10.

Sounds to me like an amp issue.. the only way to tell is with a DMM... measure the output voltage...

does the pioneer move well free air? see if you can get full excursion out of it free air.. if you can maye its just the wrong box for the pioneer..

the box is a 2 cube tuned to 30-32ish. im pretty sure it isnt the box!

That box is almost perfect for the 3002spl... there must be something wrong with your amp or with your wiring.
