It has to be the amp or the wiring man cause i agree with cbass that box is bout perfect for that 3002. i would say take it to a shop have them test the amp sometimes if you get someone nice that works there they will do it for free tell em your situation .

yea it does say that but i dunno, it should still pound pretty hard with that much power. here is a vid of my old 3002s on only like 6 or 700 each.
