Tryin to design a box for a 15. 3 cubes @ 35 Hertz.

13" x 5" port - 47.6." long

That seems kind of long but I could be wrong. got 65in^2 of port.

It is a bit long. I get 41" of port length.

3ft^3 net volume.

A standard port requires 41". A slot port requires 38.5". Remember these lengths are down the center of the port. Not the port wall.

What speaker? I would reduce port surface area and increase the box size.

Sonic FX Q 15... maybe 50sqin of port but not much smaller.
