I don't understand how you are slamming notes below your SSF setting all that loud. Seems to me it would cut off sharply below tuning.

i think you mean under tuning not SSF

Actually it was half full. My friend set it in there the night before and I didn't notice till the morning. I bought the sub for $300 then it needed a recone so that ran me another 150 ish.
