Well suddenly all of my shit decides to turn off, so i open the hood and what i thought wasn't a blown fuse....just now makes since that it would be. I didnt realize that the big fuses didn't just break apart in the middle like others....this one melted the **** outta the one side....it's blown, right?

only reason i wasnt sure was cuz i've never blown a fuse this big, i was lookin for it to be disconnected down the middle, not the whole side melted lOl that ****er made me think i blew my amp.....**** fuse.

What is the rating on that fuse? If it's more than 80A you see why they really only rate them to 80A.

Also it looks like the casing melted. That would indicate a possible bad connection between fuse and its holder. The ad connection would cause high resistance and current plus resistance make for power lost as heat. Make sure you have a solid connection between the fuse and the holder.
