I'm now converting my failed attempt at bandpass into a ported enclosure tuned to 40 hz. I tried using several round port calculators thinking it'd be easiest to go get some pvc and just do it that way. Deminsions of the box are roughly 18x30x12

3.75^3 before displacements. I also plan to do alot of renforcing to take up some of that space that is not needed. so let's say 2.9-3.0 cubes tuned to 40hz. When I calculate that on several online calculators I get some odd 1.6456 inches. That cant be correct...can it? Btw, this is for an 06 L7 12".

So would 2 4" pvc pipes exactly 11" work just as well?

Had it tuned super low, dont like it, was just going to see what 40hz was like. What do you suggest?

Keep in mind this is being built out of scrap from a failed attempt so it's probably not permanent.

I wanted to notice the difference from 32hz though. Like I said, if this doesnt work out, I'll get some more mdf and start over. Thanks for the help. going to try 38 hz with 4 inchers I think.
