Ok to get back on the subject real quick the Lightning Audio st1000.1 will compare if not meet up too the abilitys of the JBL and its around 20 bucks cheaper on ebay buy it now and if you get a no reserve auction thats even cheaper but its hard as hell to find either on on ebay.

Exactly, people on other forums will eat you alive for stating something like the JBL is 1200 w Peak. You make one simple mistake and you better not show your face up there again. Here it is different, we joke around, we all learn. Maybe a comment that you consider being rude is simply just meant as a joke. I have seen some posts where you have no idea what the person is talking about, you ask them to be more specific or word it differently and they get an attitude. Usually if you don't get any replies, chances are your question wasn't being understood.

alright since we're on the topic of the jbl 1200.1 i live in canada and they sell then for about $700 canadian. now for 1200 watts rms i'd say thats one hella good price. and i know i shouldn't get of topic but i need to know the answer. i want to get 2 eclipse aluminum 15" DVC subs. and i wanna know if one of the 1200.1's would make both of thoes subs pound. or would i be better off getting 2 of the jbl's?? thanks

and yeah that comment about the 1200.1 being 1200peak is pretty harsh.

1200 Wrms to anything will make it pound. It should sound very good.

If you want to buy 2 go ahead. Everybody has different preferences, but one 1200.1 would be enough for everyday listening.
