This a good sub/amp combo?

Not looking for anything extreme, just a bit of nice sounding bass in my daily driver. I ran 2x Adire Tempest 15" for a while and thats just way too much.

Local seller has a Kicker L7 12" in vented box for $250 obo that I am thinking of picking up. I already have a JBL 1200.1 amp. Would these two make a pretty good combo?

yeah. not bad. i'm not sure what box it is in, but they get really loud in 2.75 cubes tuned to around 35-38hz. the box is going to make far more difference than the actual sub. prefabs ****. if it is in a box from kicker, it won't be too horrible for a prefab.
