This a decent table saw?

I called him and asked him what sort of deal he could get on something like it, and he said he could get it for cost probably. I figure that will be ~150$, maybe less. Is this a decent saw? I won't be using it a whole lot, but it would be something good to have around.

Eh... Looks like the reviews are less than favorable on it. I guess I will have to see what the price would be.

I picked up a 15A skill for $50 used. It cuts wood.

I do have them rip it into three at Lowes first though.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about doing. As long as it cuts straight I should be ok.

There not terrible but never been a fan of skill tools.. seem to be of lesser quality, should do the job though

i actually bought that one a couple weeks ago from lowes and used it to build my first box. worked pretty good. itd be nice if the table top was bigger. no complaints yet.

ya thats the only problem i had with it. but nothing a couple extra people to help did not solve.

Yeah, should work fine, the fence width isn't very big though...

If you get it at cost it should be a hell of a lot cheaper than $150. You could probably do better buying used off craigslist. I just picked up a nice Dewalt saw for $75 that sells for $550 new.

Might do the job for now but over time you'll want and possibly need something a little bigger and better.

no don't waste your money on it if you can look on craiglist first and find a nicer one for the same or less. Table is so small going to be a pain to cut large chunks and they will be falling off and breaking if you don't catch them.
