Huge box design, 4 15's forward, port to the side? Change up my design!

Been contemplating going with a wall with 4 15's, or simply a huge box with 4 15's or2 15's in a wall. All came down to finding another soundstream amp I could afford, found one that had to be fixed so Im gonna grab it.

First off I should say I would LOVE to have a wall, everything forward, and sealed off, but I havent figured out an easy box to do that, and a 32" tall and 37.5" wide front baffle hinders any room for port.

This box is my 2nd choice, a wall of 4 15's, behind the 2nd row, in a 15c/f box. Only problem is I WANTED a wall, but my subs are 16" diameter and Ive only got 32" height and 37.5" width, so Im pretty much screwed there... so I had to scrap the idea of the wall

And think of just doing a big ported box. The box will be 37.5 X 32 x 24. Subs forward like I said, can fold the rear seats forward. I was thinking of doing 4 8" sonotubes. Port to the sides (2 ports on each side) but Ive only got 24" depth

I have had these 4 15's installed before, did subs BACK port UP. AND my cars hatch and roof went CRAZY

Kinda trying to stop that by not having either port or sub fire into it. And there is a good enough gap on the sides for clearance, I just dont know about the sound....

you thought about going back to your wall idea and having a clamshell design?

for the port to the side design...I would be worried about interference of the side of the vehicle by not having enough clearance for the ports to breath.

Well theres ATLEAST 7" clearance on each side so I think I would be fine with port to the sides

you could do a reverse clamshell where the center of the enclosure is extruding and the sub magnets would be closer to each other than a normal flat baffle. the upper 2 subs would be slightly facing the roof and the lower 2 slightly facing the floor.

based on your measurements, you should be able to do the 4 subs forward(relatively) and aero's forward.

i know you have your heart set on useing those sono tubes but a slot port down the side or middle would be so much easyer
