Thinking of New SUBS - HELP! *PICS*

Alright guys, I never purchased a sub in my life. I have been looking into buying a pair for about 4 months. I've learned a lot and still have a lot to learn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif.

Anyways, I just bought a used car. Acura CL 2003 and it came with cheap *** audio equipment: AUDIOBAHN! Yeah I know, shitty shit. Everything is Audiobahn, almost. Amps and subs are.

My car has a 3 Audiobanh Sound Q 12" sub set up (no box)

Basically, I would like to replace the subs with something. I was thinking AA, but their website isn't showing anything except the notice.

These AB are 1000 watts each (1800 watt amp) and I would like to get new subs (possibly 3 or 2). Disregard the current set up. Just wanted to show off my "nice" trunk with shitty stuff.

They're in a box... it looks to be a sealed enclosure fiberglassed into the wheel well. And despite everybody's hate for audiobahn, their Sound Q subs are not that bad. Most of their amps are shit though.

That install looks pretty nice.

I dont know what everyones problem is but my audiobahn eternal 15"s out pound everyone I know and they sound good also. I have never had a problem with audiobahn and I have owned alot of them accept the flame q but the high excursion, ultra excursion, and my current eternal have all sounded good and played very loud

if that car sounds bad change things, if it sounds ok leave it. someone put some love into that install.

yea, the install looks great. if u can get new subs w/out changing the box size, go for it, i dunno how hard it would be to replace it all, but it shouldnt be too bad.

AA is gonna start releasing the assassin's in a few months

edit: is it me, or is that inverted sub not wired up?
