i think it's time to get rid of my daily beater, which is an 2 mazda 626...got a good 178k on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

so im thinking about trading this 626 in and getting something small and decent on gas...i've looked a lot at the Colorado/Canyon and the Tacoma's...i've heard a lot of negatives about the train and the block on the Colorado's, which from the best i can tell are the same as my Uplander, which seems to work fine, and has a ton of punch for a van...so im not sure if the complaints are legit...i think they are pretty nice myself...

basically im looking for a good amount of power, 4 door, short bed and decent on gas...thats it...

any suggestions? things to look at? probably going to make a decision this week or next...

yea my uplander is nice enough, the back seats are the most uncomfortable things to sit in though...but i can burn the front tires pretty easily with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif not too shabby for a family vehicle...it's a salvage vehicle...took me 4 grand to rebuild it...and all together i got it for less than 9 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well I wouldn't be sitting in the back much. That is where all the kiddies go, which we have 3 and they are all girls and well they are little angels, cept when they start throwing shit everywhere.

I am in a delemia myself. Wondering if I should spend 300-400 bucks on new tires for my fiance's ride that has 150,000 miles on it or go help her finance a used vechichle. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I hate looking for vechichles. Takes up too much time, plus my dam credit score will go down, lol!

well i consider 22 or more decent for a small-mid truck...i dont mean "good" or "excellent" just decent...hell my Tundra is getting 21 right now...

get a colorado/canyon. nice little trucks, and im not just saying that because i like GM's either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif lol

got me an 01 4cylinder tacoma.... good gas milage, but only 2 doors...on mine at least.

but yeah, tacomas are nice trucks, not one problem for me so far and fairly easy to work on.

I really like my 06 Tacoma Quad cab....It has the 4.0 and it is very efficient on gas...usually around 25mpg...I did add a stainless steel Borla exhaust.....and K&N cold air intake with a motorized metal bed cover...so I'm sure those have an effect on it...but I am rolling on 20's also....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
