I personally own 5 German Shepherds right now. My dad has been breeding German Shepherds for about 15 years now and has had shepherds for more than 25 years. Honestly I think that can be a top choice if you want a dog that looks big, scary, can/will attack intruders, very smart dog, loyal to owner(s) I would say German Shepherd. They also make good family pets and are great with kids. If your interested in one P/M me.

Out of the 2 i say get the 2nd one.....but if it was for me id get a Fullsize Doberman Pinscher....that should be able to protect you........ or eat you

Some nice looking dogs! For protection and loyalty I would go with the German Shepahrd. I have had nothing but that breed and to me is the best for loyalty. The great dane is a good dog too. Not much for protection but look big and cute. The english mastiff is what I would get out the 2 of the ones you got up there though. Peace!

looking at puppies now, probably gonna buy for christmas--about $1500 from a reputable breeder with papers and health screening already completed.
