im thinking about trading in my silverado for something different. i get about 18 mpg with the silverado and i love the versatility of a truck. but i want something new. i would like something with better gas mileage and something with more room. but both usually dont go together. im looking for something around a 2006. i have a couple choices that im interested in.

1-nissan 350z

pros:bad *** car, good gas mileage, decent truck space for a single sub setup, would be great for an sq vehicle

cons: limited room, only a 2 seater, cant buy them with a good certified warranty

2-jeep grand cherokee

pros: lots of space, good looking for a mid size suv, great family vehicle, could put a hella system in the back with no space lost up front, good certified warranty.

would love the srt8 but dont think i can afford the price and the 15 highway gas miles that go with it.

cons: gas mileage, ride quality

now, i would like to save some money. if i went with the 350z, the money i save in gas would make about 5 payments over the course of the loan but it is also more expensive to buy and i would have a little cash to add for the trade in. now with the jeep, it would be cheaper on the trade in, no cash added. but the gas would be the same as my silverado. im an audio fanatic and i cant go without a good system. my truck does not enable me to do a great install without sacraficing alot. im kinda torn between what i wanna get, and this is the best place to talk about this stuff. all input is greatly appreciated and if you have other ideas for vehicles post em up.

i would like to stay in the 20k range for price, and cheaper is better.

deep wells would be sweet, i really like mr kebo's that he had for sale.

but i also have to think about the family situation that will be coming soon! i dont wanna be forced to change again in a year

i have always loved those and would definately like one, but might be a little more expensive for me as of now. trying to stay right around 20k with around 30k miles or less
Yea under 30k miles would be hard...

My friend picked an 03 up with 80k for like 17,000

yeah it would be, and inifinit doesnt have any certified powertrain warranty's. like my silverado has a 5 year, 100k mile powertrain warranty on it. something like that is nice ecspecially when you are making payments, it gives you a little safety net in case something goes wrong you dont have to worry about taking the cash out of your pocket

don't get a Jeep Grand Cherokee if your looking for decent gas mileage. I have a 07 Cherokee with the 3.7 6 cylinder and I'm lucky to get 16 mpg average.
