You're lucky you got back before he was gone...shit I'd have loved to have caught the mother****er who broke into my car about a year ago...no joke/exaggeration/etc...I most likely would have shot him in the leg or something (probably would have regretted the repercussions but...) I mean if you woke up at 3 in the morning to see someone in your driveway stealin ur shit...

i had a friend who walked out to his truck being robbed, he just walked up to the dude and knocked him out, then the guys gf gets out of their car and starts talking shit about how she was going to call the cops for knocking her bf out.

Guess it could have been worse. At the shop I work at. They told me a few years back guy had his older car with 6,000 in stereo equipment in it (at wholesale prices). He is in the shop. comes out and car is gone. They hotwired it in the parking lot and took off with it in the middle of the day

lol i have a secret weapon hiding spot in my car in the event of this... i built a little housing in between my seat and center console and theres a torque wrench in there just incase... cause idc what u say, when someone is wielding a huge wrench its way for intimidating than a bat or something, IMO

It sucks to wake up to see daylight in your car when you have two layers of 5% window tint on your back windows. I had a car broken into 15 years ago when I used to DJ and they stole my CD case that was sitting on my back seat. They tried to get into the trunk to get the system out but it was a moot point because when they tore through the rear seats, they were met with an enclosure that was bolted into place! In fact, when I sold that car I was cursing myself out for bolting it the way I did.... Four bolts through the car with fender washers and the heads of the bolts tack welded into place. I had to use a sawzall to cut through each of the bolts.

OP-glad you got your shit back, even if you don't have it now, I see you getting it back anyway, although it is fuxored anyway. Since you seem to know his step dad, I would make him pay for a new deck and anything else he hodge podged in your setup.

Also could have been way worse. I was out 5500 in audios as my car was taken to a chop shop and they never found the fawking thieves! At least you caught the fawker!
